Aguja Garfish -Needlefish in Escabeche – MARISCADORA
Agujas, aka Garfish or needle fish is an elongated white fish very popular in Spain and Portugal. Simply preserved in sunflower oil. One to try.
MARISCADORA is a brand of the Galician canning company Costas y Miñán, SL, founded in 1966 and with a factory in Cambados, on the banks of the Ría de Arousa. With 50 years of history, it still maintains a traditional production process with recipes passed down from generation to generation. Its raw materials come from the shellfish-gathering guilds in the area, and from the Galician ports where both inshore fish and fish from the Atlantic campaigns arrive.
