DPD will notify you on delivery  day  of your expected delivery time. Our DPD tracking info is also showing on the email confirming your order is on its way.
99.9 % of our parcels arrive on time as expected  BUT…  If you are getting concerned, check the tracking info on DPD website or contact us ASAP @ [email protected]  Our fish boxes are well insulated, packed with sufficient ice packs to maintain temperature down and keep your products in prime conditions.

HOW IS MY ORDER PREPARED?

North & South: Same Ocean, different catch:
Greencastle & Killybegs (North Coast), Rossaveal & Dingle (West Coast), Castletownbere, Union Hall, Ballycotton, Kilmore Quay (South & East). We have friends in every pier helping us gathering our selection.

 

Not every fish the same when quality is everything. 
Twenty years directly sourcing all our fresh fish have taught us a lot about Fish & Seafood. Fishing methods, which boats to buy from, the season. We have learnt where and when to buy fish but also when not too…
Most of our fish is sourced on the bone
We are Fishmongers, skilled at filleting every species. It is hard work but the only way for us to ever be satisfied with the freshness, and the handling of our products.
Our products are priced €/kg , sold per Portion/Pack. 
Wild fish sizes vary, but we are expert at portioning them to match our online description. We will automatically refund you proportionally if we are unable to match it.  A selection of preparation methods are available on a number of whole fish. this will decrease the final weight you receive (Fish/ Bones)

HOW DO WE SEND IT?

Our partnership with DPD has grown into a valuable asset for our seafood courier service. Their commitment to timely deliveries, coupled with their understanding of our products’ perishable nature, has resulted in a remarkable 99.9% on-time parcel delivery rate.
DPD also shares our commitment to sustainability & have been investing in a fleet of emission free, electrical vehicles to deliver our parcels in urban areas.

HOW IS YOUR ORDER PACKED?

Your order will arrive carefully packed in an insulated box with coolants to guarantee the freshness of our product, no matter the weather… Our boxes are fully recyclable, so is the tape sealing it. Our waterproof fish pouches are all compostable. We use plastic only when needed, to insure our products arrive in top condition.

What about those ice packs? The water jelly inside them is 99.9 % H2O (water) +  0.1%  Sodium Poly-acrylate.  A thirsty organic food grade compound, commonly used in agriculture to improve soil moisture retention.

Best way to recycle them ? The gel can be disposed in your own home compost or mixed with soil for your flowers and vegetable beddings. The Plastic envelope is to be disposed in your grey bin.

We are Fishmongers. 100 % of our Wild fish is sourced straight off the boats. When fish lands, all hands on deck join in to sort, fillet, and pack all orders on time for our courier to pick up.
 
We are usually too busy to answer the phone, and fault of outsourcing this service in India :) ... We made the choice to simply cut off our neglected phone lines.
