Sardines in country Butter for re-heating. Packed with rich and creamy Breton butter. Place in a hot water bowl for 5 minutes before opening and draining the can. Eat directly with Bread , or use as a topping over rice, pasta, mash potatoes.
Every Pointe de Penmarc’h products is exclusively prepared by hand, using only fresh & locally sourced fish, while adhering to a strong Focus on sustainable traditional fishing methods which always guarantee the best raw products. Penmarch “Sardines a l’ancienne” translate as Old method Sardines. After brine salting, they are placed on traditional sardines metal wire racks before being fried in oil. A time consuming method which has remined unchanged since the early days of the tinned Sardines industry. After cooling, each fish are carefully trimmed by hand and packed with quality ingredients in a range of classic traditional recipes or with a modern twist.
