Penmarch “Sardines a l’anciene” translate as Old method Sardines. After brine salting, they are placed on traditional sardines metal wire racks before being fried in oil. A time consuming method which has remined unchanged since the early days of the tinned Sardines industry. After cooling, each fish are carefully trimmed by hand and packed with quality ingredients in a range of classic traditional recipes or with a modern twist.
