Join us for an evening dedicated to the humble Tinned sardine.
Over two hours, in a casual way with a glass of wine in hand, we’ll taste our way through a selection of great sardines and try to share all we’ve learned about them over the years — from the different canning traditions around Europe, to the fishing methods, and what actually makes a good tin of sardines.
We’ll also look at how they can be used simply as a fantastic ingredient in your kitchen. We’ll cook a few simple dishes along the way to make sure you do not dash to Supermacs on the way out… and show you just how versatile a good tin can be.
