Gurnard (Headless)
€10.00 / Kg
Red, Grey, Tub, Robin…. Many varieties of Gurnards are caught as by-catch, and were for long time an unwanted specie. The days for this tasty and inexpensive fish being fed back to the Seagulls are over.
NOTE: as a number of inshore caught fish, Gurnard is a fish with a stronger incidence of Nematods parasites… We screen for those as well as we can… IT IS LIKELY that some may remain. It is imperative to either cook or freeze (if consuming raw) Gurnard is delicious but not for every table.
