What to do with that roe? Simple… place your whole fish roe into salted water and simmer for 15-25 minutes depending on size.
Once that is done remove and set aside to cool.
For larger roe slice them into 1/2 inch pieces (as you would with black/white pudding). For smaller roe you can leave them whole.
Next coat them in flour then beaten egg then panko breadcrumbs (seasoned with paprika, salt, black pepper)
Simply fry on each side until just golden (a couple of minutes).
Serve with lemon, tartare sauce, and a simple baby leaf salad.
