Crab & Potato Cake Dinner For 2 or Starter For 4 =)

With our new amazing Fresh Cooked Aran Island Crab Meat and a few simple ingredients you can indulge

in something truly special for your dinner this week as a starter or main course.

Ingredients For Crab Cakes:

  • 225g Pack Fresh Cooked Aran Islands Crab Meat
  • 500g Mashed Potato (plain/no butter or milk)
  • 1 Spring onion sliced very thinly
  • 1 Beaten Egg
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Flour (For Dusting)

Mix together the ingredients and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to firm up. Shape into 4-6 patties and dust with flour.

Shallow fry in a non stock pan with some rapeseed oil for 4-5 minutes per side. Serve with a rocket salad and tartare sauce.

For the Tartare Sauce Mix Together The Following:

Mayonaisse, Chopped Gherkins, Chopped Capers, Chopped Parsley and Lemon Juice.
