Premium Galway Bay Oysters

Garry’s Special Galway Bay Oyster  Big, full & Meaty. “The Amarone of Irish oysters”. Grown on the Southern shore  of Galway bay, using a unique system of Tumbling Hanging Baskets.

Every turns of tides and waves motion, rock and shake those baskets, forcing the oyster to work a little harder and grow larger meat content.  The secret for it’s sweet and umami rich flavor of those oysters, are their muscular (Pumped up) abductor muscle.  The extra high meat content, makes those oysters unbelievably sweet, with a low salinity and so much flavor.

The production of those oysters remains at an experimental stage, a few tons a year, which we are honored to receive in exclusivity.
