Surf clams, aka the white clams are also known as Venus clams or Almeja Blanca. They are good value and a delicious addition to any pasta or seafood dishes or simply enjoyed streamed on their own.. Wild stocks for this abundant and fast growing shellfish are plentiful on the South and West Coast where they are harvested with light dredges  in shallow water in coastal area.  Always soaked and purified in sea water to remove grits and bits of sands before packing, our Surf clams can be  enjoyed directly.
