Blackspot Bream, or Red Sea Bream, once common off Ireland’s west coast but now rarely landed by Irish boats. Known in Spain as Besugo, it is a prized Christmas Eve fish. The French call it Daurade Beaux Yeux — “Pretty Eyes”. Perfect for: Roasting whole • Baking • Grilling
