Cultivated French Abalone ( 6 pieces)

Irish/French farmed Abalone – medium size – ( 4-6 cm shell size) Hatched in Connemara,  Grown inland on the French Island of Groix, in Brittany. The slow growing Native European Abalones are known as being the tastiest of all the Abalone species . Their  unique wild Seaweed diet, give them a very fragrant, and distinctive Abalone flavour loved by Abalones aficionados.

Smaller Cultivated abalones are more tender than the larger wild Abalones and are the best for cooking. Tougher large abalones are best enjoyed sliced for Sashimi.
