I’m sure you have made white sauce for Lasagne Before? Butter, flour, milk and some cheese? Yeah that one.
Well make a batch of white sauce (or Bechamel if you are fancy) and set aside.
Season your scallops with salt and pepper and then in a little butter give them a very quick fry on each side… like 30 seconds just to give them a bit of colour. If you feel confident you can add the slightest splash of white wine here too.
Arrange as many scallops as you like in your serving dish or cleaned scallop shell and spoon over with your white sauce.
You can top this with some bread crumbs and parmesan cheese if you like for some extra flare.
Bake in a hot oven (200 C) for 10-15 minutes until nice and bubbly and slightly browned on top.
